To Franks’ family I am hereby conveying my sincerest condolences you at his loss. Currently on a visit to the island the news of his passing was very shocking and sad to me since he was one of my early childhood school friends of whom I have often wondered but never knew how to contact him. We both entered Combermere together after primary school at St. Marys. We spent time at each others homes in those days and, because of his personality, was always a delight for my mother when he visited. Always a very pleasant and engaging guy it was easy for people to like him. He was a very genuine, considerate and caring guy who when he asked how you were, you knew it was genuine and not just for conversation. On listening to his daughter’s tribute I realised that he hadn’t lost any of the good qualities and had actually developed some more. The news of his loss is very hard for me as I feel I’ve lost an opportunity to reconnect with him. For you, his entire family and friends who have been with him most of his life, his departure must be very devastating. I pray that the time spent together along with the good memories you’ve developed over his lifetime will help to sustain you through this very difficult time. May his soul rest in peace. It would be a pleasure for me to meet with you at sometime before my departure on the 30th if its possible and or convenient. In that case I can be reached by email at cskeete@sutton.com

I first met Frank about sixty-eight years ago. We attended Combermere School and would walk along Bay Street via Nelson Street to the Bus Stand. Those days are gone forever;things were much slower of pace then and conversations focused more on cricket,or one’s collection of movie stars pictures obtained from the purchase of bubble gum.. Frank had a pronounced stammer in those days and the more excited he got ,the worse the stammer became.Frank was very affable
I extend my condolences to his family.
