GIBBS: Staff Sargeant Darrington age 80 of #3 Cottage Heights, St. George formerly of Thorpe’s Cottage, St. George entered peacefully into rest. Retiree of Regional Security Services, Barbados Defence Force, The British Armed Forces, faithful member of the St George Parish Church, Men’s fellowship and the Barbados Legion.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving for the life of Darrington Gibbs will be held on Friday July 19th 2024 at St George Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30.p.m followed by the interment.   The organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend.   Floral tributes may be sent to Keith Jones Funeral Home no later than 1:30.p.m on Friday.  Viewing commences from 2:30.p.m until the start of the services.

A memorial Donation will be collected at the end of the service in memory of Darrington towards the ongoing work of Cancer Support Services. Envelopes will be provided.
