Of Upper Carlton, St. James. Retired Leading Fire Officer 102 of the Barbados Fire Service, Shopkeeper, and Farmer. Peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025. His unwavering commitment to his community and his contributions as a shopkeeper and farmer will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A service of celebration for the life of Anderson Decarlo Walkes takes place on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at St Albans Anglican Church, St. James at 2:00p.m. where relatives and friends are asked to meet.

The cortege will then proceed to New Haven Lawns, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter for the internment. Tributes commence at 1:30p.m. Floral tributes may be sent to Keith Jones Funeral Home no later than 12noon on Saturday.

Family request that mourning colours be worn.  Viewing of the body will take place at the Arch Hall Fire Station, Arch Hall, St. Thomas from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. on Friday 23rd May 2025
